With a stunning new album that puts Fay right at the heart of English Folk Music, the Shrewsbury Folk Festival were thrilled she brought her fantastic new band that includes Jon Boden, Andy Cutting, Rob Harbron and Sam Sweeney to Shrewsbury.
Her unadorned and earthy singing style marks her out as a unique artist on the English folk scene, but it’s also her choice of material that really stands out with songs that will be new to many.
